Amy West is 33 years old, living in Toronto, Ontario, and works for a major Canadian bank, while pursuing creative writing as a nearly lifelong hobby on the side. She has been passionate about writing since age seven, and is avid about writing poetry and have also dabbled in short stories and pop culture reviews.  Amy has had her writing featured in various publications, such as College Quarterly, Fearsome Critters, and Excalibur. In her spare time, she likes to read books, work on her poetry blog, dance like a crazy woman to all genres of music, walk the diverse, dynamic streets of the city, and spend time with family and friends. Amy hopes to travel more in the future and gain further inspiration for her creative undertakings.

These hauntingly courageous poems of modern love make romance, proper "get to know you and yearn for you romance", seem like a fairy tale, yet still we put ourselves out there, seeking that connection. Beautiful Amy! So proud of your work, your courage, and your heart.
